4/23 (Sun) & 4/30 (Sun)｜Table Tennis Friendship Match｜Chinese Fellowship Department
For two consecutive weekends in April 2023, the Church Fellowship Department hosted a men and women’s table tennis friendship match. The active participation of the brothers and sisters made the game lively and tense. Nearly 50 contestants had 28 matches, and the top four men are Zhao Kezhang, Liang Tianhua, Zhang Hua, and Chen Xinyuan. The top four women are Wu Haiwei, Pan Xiurong, Chen Dongling; and He Xiaomei.
Through this event, it not only promoted the table tennis among brothers and sisters, but also promoted their fellowship for each other. It also attracted many old and new friends who hadn’t seen each other for a long time to come back to participate. It was really a heart-warming fellowship activity.
4/28 – 4/30 (Fri to Sun)｜Brothers and Sisters Retreat｜Chinese Fellowship Department
The church held a three-day retreat event from April 28th to 30th. Nearly 100 church members participated in the church’s biennial joint retreat for brothers and sisters. This time we specially invited Pastor Huang Lixun from the International Association of True Love Families and her husband Pastor Hong Jianzhou from California to give a presentation on “the wonderful recipe to rebuild love with children” and “true love must be established on the basis of God’s truth before it can exert the influence of life”. There are also a variety of game activities and lively group discussions held.
The participants all said that the three-day joint retreat was rich and successful, and everyone benefited a lot. It was really a spiritual feast full of blessings!
